March 2021 Releases 3 Bottle Set
2018 Bicentennial Chardonnay
New Release! Fort Ross Vineyard was selected to produce a special Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to commemorate the 1812 – 2012 Bicentennial of the old Russian Settlement of Fort Ross on the Sonoma Coast. This was the site of the first grape plantings in all of Sonoma County and even foreshadowed the plantings in Napa County.
Food Pairing: Butternut Squash "Steaks," Dungeness Crab Winter Citrus Salad
2018 The Terraces Pinot Noir
New Release! The Terraces is crafted from 100% Calera clone planted on our single unique Terraced Block #11. Expansive aromatics of red currant, raspberry, black tea and violets unfold with complexity. The fruit driven palate reveals a graceful core of ripe cherry, black currant, wild berry and just a touch of tart juicy plum followed by a persistent lush finish.
Food Pairing: Roasted Salmon with Lentils & Bacon, Beet & Goat Cheese Salad
2015 Pinotage
90 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
Aged 10 months in 30% new oak, its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by a Pinot Noir-like bouquet of smoked blackberries, peppery herbs, chocolate, and sappy herbs. Balanced and medium to full-bodied, with plenty of tannins and good acidity, it’s an interesting, solid effort. I suspect it will evolve nicely for 4-6 years or more as well.
Food Pairing: Oxtail Stew, Tex-Mex Style Beef Enchiladas
