"11 Stellar Sonoma County Chardonnays to Sample Now" - Haute Living San Francisco
This Chardonnay's hazy yellow hue is evidence of subtle stirring of the lees and bottling without fining or filtration. The rounded, rich mouthfeel is intertwined with the crisp acidity and stony minerality that is an expression of the high elevation and cool coastal climate. Pretty floral aromas of lemon blossom, chamomile and honeysuckle are balanced by hints of toasted hazelnut and honeycomb. This Chardonnay will continue to evolve for many years. - Fran Miller, March 2022
2017 Stagecoach Road Pinot Noir

The 2017 Pinot Noir Estate Stagecoach Road has slowly opening aromas of roasted cranberries and blackberries accented by potpourri, Earl Grey tea leaves, dusty earth, woodsmoke and cola. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and nuanced with loads of spicy, bitters-like accents and great freshness, finishing long and layered.

A rare find anywhere in California, let alone the coast, this cross-breed of Cinsault and Pinot Noir shows earthy notes of tree bark and cedar. The elegant frame of soft, integrated tannin allows room for layers of black tea, berry pie and cardamom to take hold and find a seamless core of flavor. - Virginie Boone. August 2021.
