This Thanksgiving set features one of each of the 4 varieties planted at our coastal vineyard, highlighting the diversity of our site and offering a wonderful range of styles that will please any palate at the Thanksgiving table.

2023 Chenin Blanc 

Our third bottling of the Fort Ross Chenin Blanc, the 2023 vintage, is a stunning example of an Old World variety thriving on the rugged Sonoma Coast. The wine showcases a vibrant straw/lemon core that softens at its rim, gradually revealing its character in the glass. Aromas of ripe pear, lemon meringue, candied ginger, and crushed stone soar, with a saline edge hinting at our vineyard’s close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. 

2022 Mother of Pearl Chardonnay

Born from one of the highest elevation blocks of our estate vineyard, this Chardonnay is initially tightly wound, revealing chalky aromas of wet stone and flint that gradually give way to more luscious notes of lemon curd, Honeycrisp apple, subtle whitepeach, and honeysuckle as it opens up in the glass. Delicate floral hints add depth to this rapidlyevolving aromatic profile. 

2022 Top of Land Pinot Noir

Sourced from some of our lowest yielding and highest elevation blocks, this wine showcases the immense concentration and stunning potential of the Fort Ross-Seaview appellation. Medium ruby and crystalline in the glass, it bursts with elevated notes of rhubarb, earthy red cherry, dried rose petal, and Asian spices.

2021 Pinotage

These vines are some of the only Pinotage cuttings in California. The wine displays aromas of black cherry, wild blueberry, plum, sage and Asian spices. These notes are followed on the palate with dense tannins, sweet tobacco and a hint of coastal bay that brings freshness. Subtle undertones of French oak round the finish and provide great depth to this singular expression of Pinotage.
