International Pinot Noir Day 4-Pack 2021 Cuvées
2021 Bicentennial Pinot Noir
Burgundy ruby in color, the 2021 Bicentennial Pinot Noir begins with an alluring blend of wild mixed berries, currants and English Breakfast tea aromatics. This medium bodied selection offers luscious layers of dark plum, raspberry and black cherry, complimented by round, supple tannins and completed with a lively, bright finish.
2021 Stagecoach Road Pinot Noir
94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
The 2021 Pinot Noir Stagecoach Road Fort Ross Vineyard takes on a darker appearance, with a ruby-purple hue and notes of black cherry, forest floor, and licorice. This full-bodied Pinot takes on good balance of richness and freshness, with a spine of acidity, ripe tannins, and broader shoulders. Notes of black raspberry, turned soil, orange oil, and smoky earth come together nicely. Give it another year and drink 2024-2030.
2021 The Terraces Pinot Noir
90 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
A deep youthful ruby with a purple tinge, the 2021 Pinot Noir The Terraces Fort Ross Vineyard is another spicy wine from this estate, with ripe red cherry, toasted baking spice, and beet root. This medium bodied red is tangy and tart on the palate, with crunchy cranberry, orange zest, and dark, turned earth. It has an angular feel, with lingering notes of incense, and is tightly wound, with a bit of greenness on the finish. Drink it over the next several years.
2021 Top of Land Pinot Noir
92 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
The 2021 Pinot Noir Top Of Land Fort Ross Vineyard pours a deep, youthful ruby hue, with elegant layers of aromatics coming together, including baking spice, ripe cherry, and pine. Medium-bodied, it has a taut feel on the palate, with fresh orange peel, pomegranate seed, crunchy red fruits, and dusty earth, with ripe tannins. It’s coiled at the moment but feels more complete than the Terraces cuvée. Drink it over the next several years.
